A Cavan woman is appealing for information after her car was damaged following an incident which occurred on Friday the 10th of November. Speaking on today's Joe Finnegan Show, Jacqueline McKeever explained how her car was damaged by another vehicle while it was parked outside her property on John Paul Avenue. While Gardaí have confirmed that an investigation into the matter is currently underway, Jacqueline is appealing to those involved to "come forward" as opposed to wasting Garda resources. The Cavan woman revealed that this is not the first time that an incident like this has happened.
In fact, this is the third car of Jacqueline's to be damaged in the last three years, a problem which prompted her to install CCTV at her property. While the CCTV footage was unable to detect a registration plate, Jacqueline said that the make of the vehicle in question is a Ford Focus.
"If anyone noticed between a 2005 - 2010 Ford Focus in the last week with damage to the front left passenger side please get in touch," she said. "Again, even if it was done anonymously or if someone is willing to come forward themselves and pay for the damage, the Gardaí have enough to be dealing with. Even if the individual can't afford to pay it off, it could be paid off in small amounts as I know that Christmas is understandably a busy and an expensive time of year for everybody."
