Local Gardaí are appealing for information following a break-in to a property on Poundhill in Monaghan town. The incident happened between Friday the 6th of October and Wednesday the 11th of October .
According to Gardaí, the culprits forced the door of the premises open and removed a large sum of euro coins consisting of €2 coins, 20c and 10c coins.
Gardaí in Monaghan are appealing to anyone who noticed anything out of the ordinary in the vicinity during that period or anyone who purchased goods from a shop locally with a quantity of loose change that felt suspicious to contact them.
