Detectives in Co Fermanagh are appealing for information and witnesses following the report of an aggravated burglary in the Rosnarick Close area of Derrygonnelly on Wednesday June 14th.
Police received a report at 11.45pm that five men entered a property with sticks and stones and assaulted a man and his partner. The man was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries, the extent of which are unknown at this time.
The suspects left the scene on foot towards the Fairgreen area of the town. An investigation is underway and anyone who was in the area at the time the attack took place or may have CCTV footage which can assist the investigation is asked to contact 101 quoting reference number 2547 14/06/23.
