A man is in hospital after a light aircraft crashed near the Leitrim-Longford border last night.
It happened shortly before 9.30 last night near Drumlish.
The pilot was injured in the crash and has been taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar for treatment.

The Department of Transport has launched an investigation and is appealing to anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
