Investigation launched after the discovery of body of a man in 20s

Gardaí are investigating all the circumstances following the discovery of a man's body outside Cavan Town in the early hours of this morning.

The body of the man, in his 20s, has since been removed to Cavan General Hospital.

A post-mortem will take place in due course, the results of which will determine the course of the investigation.
