Farmers are warning the uncertainty over CAP reform, climate action and Brexit means increased supports for the sector have never been more critical.
The Irish Farmers Association's to meet with the Finance and Public Expenditure ministers later to detail their demands in the upcoming budget.
It says a total of €900 million will be needed to help farmers next year, and the government needs to contribute to that alongside the EU.
