The IFA President is in Brussels this weekend to meet farm leaders from across Europe as it steps up its campaign against the Mercosur trade deal.
It comes after EU Commission President Von Der Leyen agreed a trade deal with the Mercosur countries in Uruguay, which has been described by Irish farmers as a sell out deal.
The IFA President, who is also the Vice-President of the European farmer representative body, said it will be co-ordinating the next steps of the campaign to oppose the deal, with a flash action protest in Brussels on Monday morning.
Francie Gorman said deal will result in beef of questionable standards coming into the Irish market.
