The Health Service Executive has been granted planning permission to upgrade
the National Learning Network Building in Monaghan town following
"anti-social behaviour at the premises".
The Planners Report said the works to the building at the Diamond are
required due to this "anti-social behaviour" and as a result of previous
damage to the building.
The works include alterations to the existing patio area and steps at the
front of the building, the erection of railings along the front of the
building, and the incorporation of security shutters at entrance to
building.
The HSE says these works will also "provide a safe environment for both
staff and the public".
