A government minister has called on Phil Hogan to resign following the controversy over the Galway golf dinner.
A spokesperson for the European Trade Commissioner says he has provided a detailed report about his movements to the Commission.
Phil Hogan was cautioned by gardai for using his mobile phone while driving in Kildare last week, after stopping off in the county under lockdown, on his way to Galway.
Mr Hogan has since apologised for his attendance but stopped short of resigning.
