Housing development planned for Park St., Monaghan Town

Planning permission has been lodged for a new housing development in Monaghan. Clarlan Limited have applied to Monaghan County Council for the development at 27 and 28 Park Street in Monaghan Town.

The application consists of the change of use of the existing building within an architectural conservation Area from a Bar/Restaurant to
residential accommodation.

Also included is the alteration of the building to include five, one bed apartments, one, two bed duplex unit, and the partial demolition of the rear
extension. County Planners will decide on the issue towards the end of August.
