A new study reveals that Co Cavan has had a 42% rise in house prices from 2010 to 2022.
While Co Monaghan has seen a 34% increase in prices across the same period.
The report revealed that the average price in Cavan for a home was just over €140,000 while in 2022 that figure was €202,671.
In Monaghan the average cost of a property back in 2010 stood at 153,118 while last year the same home would cost you 204,633.
The report highlighted that a home in Cavan would be 60,000 more today than it would be 12 years ago while the figure of 51,500 is the extra cost of a home in Monaghan compared to 2010.
Longford is the county that registered the smallest change in price at only 17%, 23,000 more than the price of a residence 12 year ago.
Dublin has had the largest change in house prices at 80% more compared to 2010.
