The average price of a house across Cavan and Monaghan continues to rise according to a new report.
According to the Q4 myhome.ie report, the price of a 3-bed semi in Monaghan is up €25,000 on the same time last year
Property prices in Cavan have risen by €5,000 during quarter 4 of 2024. The report, done in association with Bank of Ireland, shows that the median asking price for a property in the county is now €225,000. This means prices have risen by €26,000 compared with this time last year. Asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €5,500 over the quarter to €192,500. This is up €17,500 compared to last year. Meanwhile in Monaghan, asking prices for a 3-bed semi-detached house in the county rose by €12,500 over the quarter to €200,000. This means that prices in the segment have risen by €25,000 compared to this time last year.
