House prices in Cavan and Monaghan have increased in the first three months of 2024.
According to the latest Daft.ie House proce Report, the average price of a house in Cavan has increased by six per cent, while in Monaghan the increase has been 10 per cent. Today, the average price of a house in Cavan stands at €214,000 and in Monaghan at just over €238,000. There were just over 2,100 homes on the market in Connacht-Ulster on March 1st down 23 per cent year-on-year and a new low in a series stretching back to 2007. Over 80 per cent of respondents to the latest Daft.ie report cite lack of homes as a factor in delaying home purchase.
