House prices across the Northern Sound region have jumped significantly in the past year.
A number of property reports published today show housing stock around the country remains low.
The MyHome report shows inflation in the border region, and more interest in commuter belt regions, has prices in Cavan up 18% to €189,000.

Monaghan is just below that, it saw a 12% increase, with median prices now at €180,000.
