The "days of the dark pub are coming to an end" according to a local street food vendor.

Seany McCleary says many local hotels and pubs are looking at offering outdoor dining in a bid to reopen earlier when restrictions lift.

There are calls for outdoor dining to be allowed as research by The Irish Times shows 0.1 per cent of Covid cases were linked to outside activity or gathering.

Blasta Street Kitchen is a well-known Monaghan start up that has capitalised on outdoor catering.

Founders Seany McCleary and Nikita McCrory have grown their business and have now set up a new enterprise to help others to move into outdoor catering.
