The holiday park at Killykeen Forest Park is welcoming its first visitors to its log cabins today, at the former Coillte site overlooking Lough Oughter.
It's been unused since the Foot and Mouth outbreak and has undergone an extensive refurbishment and improvement programme over the last four years.
Cabü is promoting it as a staycation destination where people don't need to worry about social distancing.
Close to fifty jobs have been created in opening the resort.
There were over 600 applicants from job advertisements which were only posted within the county.
