The Holy Family School in Cootehill has met every Department of Education standard in providing safe schooling during Covid-19.
The Board of Management says the "very positive findings" from the recent inspection acknowledges the continuing efforts of the whole school community.
Safe Provision of Schooling reports, or SSPS, are conducted by Department of Education inspectors to ensure that schools and centres for education are implementing government guidance and being safe learning and working environments.
During visits, the inspector will engage with the staff, observe if public health guidelines are in place, review the school's Covid-19 risk assessment and conduct child protection checks.
The Holy Family School was judged on four separate areas of Covid compliance, and met each of the 36 criteria being assessed.
In response, the Board of Management welcomed the report, saying it recognises the "considerable work" conducted prior to September 2020 to make sure the school is as safe as possible for everyone.
It added that it will continue to implement the detailed measures outlined by the Department, and will review them as needed to continue to provide a "safe, supportive environment for teaching and learning".
