National Heritage Week is underway across the region and we are spoilt for choice with so many events planned for the Northern Sound Region.
The county of Monaghan alone has 32 events taking place throughout the week.
The Cassandra Hand Folk and Famine Centre is celebrating the week by hosting free demonstrations and showcasing a time gone by in rural Ireland.
There will be are items from the past on display, ranging from Clones Clogs, to butter-making equipment & to an original famine spoon.
Anne Corley says the weeks allows for people to either remember what rural life was like for previous generations or for younger people to see how life has changed so much across the region.
The Clones centre is open all week from 10am until 4pm.
Anne says with the theme being country life, it's very much a trip down memory lane for anyone from a rural background.
