High number of patients waiting for beds in Cavan General today

25 people are on trolleys this morning in Cavan General Hospital.

All of these patients are waiting in the emergency department in this hospital. This represents one of the highest figures so far this year. According to the daily Trolley Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation there are no patients without beds elsewhere in the hospital. 512 patients are waiting on a bed in hospitals across the country.
