The joint UK-EU body overseeing Brexit meets today as the Northern Secretary warns of tough economic decisions ahead. EC Vice President Maros Sefcovic travels to London to meet Chris Heaton-Harris and the British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly.
They'll ratify the legal changes brought about by the Windsor Framework. Chris Heaton-Harris says "hard decisions" should then be made by local politicians in Northern Ireland. "I do not want to be in a position where I have to set a budget.
"There are going to be some tough decisions to be taken and they should be taken by locally elected, democratically elected people for the people they represent," he added.
