Gyproc says it's committed to replacing community and sports facilities in Magheracloone.
The local GAA club and community centre were demolished after they were rendered unusable after a mine collapse almost two years ago.
It's expected Gyproc will lodge an application for a new pitch and dressing rooms for the local GAA club next week.
But the replacement of the community centre and other GAA facilities isn't included in this application.
Gyproc has refuted claims from the Drumgossett/Knocknacran Residents association which said a new open cast mine would also be included in the planning application for the replacement facilities.
In a statement to Northern Sound News it says "Full replacement GAA facilities will be restored to the Magheracloone area irrespective of the outcome of any planning application".
It continues, saying included in the application "for mining planning permission" will be "the construction of substantially upgraded GAA facilities, not just the replacement of what was lost".
