Gusts of up to 110km/h expected locally tomorrow

A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Cavan and Monaghan by Met Eireann.

The warning comes in to affect at 8am tomorrow morning and will last until 8pm tomorrow night.

The forecaster says very strong northwest winds will develop with widespread gusts of between 90 and 110km/h.

Met Eireann says gust could be even stronger in more exposed areas.
