A County Tyrone school teacher who lost a pupil to the notorious A5 road in the North last term - says news an upgrade's been signed off - is bittersweet.
The Stormont Executive confirmed yesterday plans to proceed with a huge improvement scheme to one of the country's most dangerous roads.
It agreed to begin work on dualling the A5 which links Co Donegal to Co Monaghan through counties Derry and Tyrone.
The Irish Government is giving support of 600 million to fund the A5 dual-carriageway scheme. 17 year old Kamile died in a crash on the road near Omagh in April.
