A sense of great sadness has been felt over the weekend following the death of well know local woman Anne Driver
Anne was a well know hotelier in Monaghan previously owning the Westerna and the Lakeside Hotel also.
She was an extremely popular woman across the Northern Sound region and will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Anne passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday evening the 10th January .
Anne will be missed by her loving husband Peter, sons; Shane, Stephen and Brian, daughters; Sinéad and Grace.
Predeceased by her father John and mother Anne Mc Cabe Brackla Cootehill Co Cavan, her sister Nora and brother Gerard.
Anne’s Funeral mass will take place on Monday 13th January at 11.00am in St Macartan's Cathedral Monaghan with Cremation at 2.15 pm in Lakelands Crematorium Dublin Rd Cavan
