The vaccination of over-85s is continuing but GPs have faced delays in receiving vaccine doses.
The latest figures show 81,012 vaccines had been administered in the Republic in the week up to Saturday, while almost 435,000 vaccines administered in total.
However, Monaghan GP Dr Illona Duffy says her practice and others have had to postpone their clinics because deliveries were delayed.
She had originally organised a clinic for last Thursday but is only able to begin vaccinating over-85s today.
Speaking on The Joe Finnegan Show today, she said while it's been frustrating for Doctors and patients, she's hopeful further deliveries will allow a ramping up of the programme over the coming weeks:
