The Government has won a Dail confidence vote in the Minister for Justice Helen McEntee.
The vote followed significant political pressure following the recent Dublin riots.
A no-confidence motion was originally tabled by Sinn Fein, however the Government tabled a counter motion expressing confidence in the minister.... and this they won, by 83 votes to 63.
