The Government will continue to face a 'deadlock' on the North South Interconnector if they don't 'face the reality'.
That is the message from the NEPPC who say that Ministers and Eirgrid are ignoring some key points that will continue to stall the project if they go unaddressed.
Padraig O'Reilly from the group says that Eirgrid need permission for more than 500 access points to erect the pylons and to date have received no approvals from landowners.
He says the NEPPC is now urging Cavan County Council to ensure that the 9 planning conditions required for the project's development, including these approvals, are fully complied with:
