The Government has been warned it needs to do more to protect the Post Office network across the country.
There are concerns the network could come under threat as more services move online and more people receive payments directly into their bank accounts because of the pandemic.
Cavan TD Pauline Tully told the Dáil that many in Kilnaleck were “in tears” when the local Post Office closed in early 2019.
She’s called for further investment in the Post Office network across the country and has called for more services to be offered through them
