Government called to reinstate multi-million euro scheme for farmers

The Government is being called to reinstate a 12 million euro scheme for farmers.
The Straw Incorporation Scheme was terminated by Agriculture Minister Charlie McConalogue last week.

It's lead to a backlash from farm organisations, as the scheme is designed to provide financial support for tillage farmers to help increase organic carbon level in soil.
