The Tánaiste says the Good Friday Agreement opened a path to a better future for Ireland.
Micheál Martin says we have "more to do to deliver on the fresh start the Good Friday Agreement promised."
Mr Martin addressed an event at the Abbey Theatre last night as the 25th Anniversary of its signing draws ever closer.
He also referred to the media coverage at the time, when our screens were showing "bombs, bullets, beatings; massacres, murder, and mayhem."
