The trial of two politicians and two hoteliers accused of breaching Covid rules relating to the 'Golfgate' dinner continues today at Galway District Court.
Independent TD Noel Grealish and former Fianna Fáil Senator Donie Cassidy are alleged to have organised the event at the Station House Hotel in Clifden in August 2020.
The owner of the hotel, John Sweeney, and his son James, who is the General Manager, face the same accusation.
81 people are said to have attended the dinner, at a time when a lockdown regulations only allowed for a maximum of 50.
Yesterday the court heard evidence of a large partition wall being used to separate the group across two rooms.
