Glaslough musician Jamie Duffy is set to perform at London's Hyde Park this evening.
The talented singer-songwriter will join the line-up for Andrea Bocelli’s 30th anniversary alongside Hans Zimmer, Zucchero, Katherine Jenkins and more. The 22-year-old who released his latest track 'Torus' last week has gone from strength in the musical world and is also set to go on his first Irish headline tour in September. Speaking to Northern Sound this week ahead of his performance, Jamie said he is still in a state of "disbelief" over getting the chance to share the stage with singing sensation Andrea Bocelli.
With a strong contingent of locals from Glaslough making the trip over to London to support Jamie, he said the event will be nothing short of "magical".
"I'm kind of pinching myself as we speak. I'm left speechless by the whole thing. There's a good bunch of us going from Glaslough. Hopefully it's a magical as I think it's going to be"
