A delegation from the Glaslough Tidy Towns group and Monaghan County Council are in Canada this weekend to represent Ireland in the world communities in bloom competition.
The program consists of communities receiving information and being evaluated by an international jury on the accomplishments of their entire community
Members of the Glaslough Tidy Towns group are no strangers to success, with the local group claiming the top Tidy Town prize at county level for 14 years in a row, not to mention national glory.
Back in June the local group had the privilege of welcoming international judges from the communities in bloom competition to Glaslough village and the surrounding area.
However, this weekend will mark Glaslough's turn to represent Ireland in this year's finals in Victoria on the Vancouver Island in Canada to hear the widely-anticipated results.
