Mr Adams revealed to Northern Sound that his short stories are "works of the imagination" and are essentially based on men and women going through the trials and tribulations of life, and how it is possible to survive whatever life may have in store.

Seamus Treanor referenced his "freedom of speech", and added that he is "proud" of every word he has ever said.
