According to Gardaí, the road is currently closed and local diversions are in place.

Emergency services attended the scene shortly after 10am this morning.

Anyone with information has been asked to get in contact with Clones or Monaghan Garda Station.

Jozef Puska of Mucklagh, Co. Offaly pleaded not guilty before the Central Criminal Court this afternoon.

The man was due to stand trial for an assault committed in the Cavan area back in 2019.
