The mother of Paul Quinn says Gardaí have committed to "redoubling their efforts" into investigating his murder.
Breege Quinn posted a statement from the family following a recent update meeting with members of An Garda Siochana.
The 21-year-old, from Cullyhanna was beaten to death in a farm shed near Castleblayney in 2007.
She says the family were told that Gardaí also have "definite lines of enquiry to explore".
Breege added that the Quinn family is "sure" that those responsible won't get away with killing her son and they will never let them forget.
