Gardaí in County Cavan are appealing for information in relation to a number of burglaries. According to Garda Lisa Stevens of Bailieborough Garda Station anyone with information big or small are encouraged to come forward.
Gardaí in Virginia are investigating a burglary which took place in Edenburt, Mullagh between 8th and 12th of July. According to Gardaí, shed doors of this property were prised open and a swift freestyle caravan was stolen. Gardaí in Virginia are appealing to anyone who can assist with their enquires to get in touch.
Elsewhere, a burglary occurred between the 16th and 20th of July at a property at Gannon's Cross, Belturbet. Once again, a shed was forced open and a significant quantity of tools were stolen.
In Cavan Town a burglary also occurred on the 17th of July during the early hours of the morning at a property in O'Raghallaigh Park. According to local Gardaí, the homeowner woke up and observed an unknown male in the property. The male fled the scene taking two small items with him.
Gardaí would like to hear from anyone in O'Raghallaigh Park who observed any suspicious persons or vehicles in that area between 3am and 7am on the 17th of July to get in touch.
