Gardaí looking for owner of a dog who was hit by car in Virginia

Gardaí in Baileboro are looking for assistance tracking down a owner of a dog who was hit by car in Virginia late last night.

Gardaí rushed the brown and white Jack Russell to Cavan Pet Hospital who reopened following closing for Christmas.

Gardaí are looking for the owner following the incident that involved the driver of the car that hit the small dog not stopping.

It’s believed the dog is doing well and looks set to make a full recovery following him being found on the road on Christmas Eve night.
