Gardaí have launched a public appeal to trace four women who walked into a store in Monaghan Town before placing a charity box and several other items under their skirts.
The appeal into the investigation was featured on RTÉ’s November edition of Crimecall. Despite a high number of inquiries carried out by local Gardaí, they have been yet to locate the four suspects in an incident that took place on March 11th.
That incident saw two women initially enter the shop followed by two other females, one of whom was observed lifting a charity box from behind a till and putting it under her skirt. Meanwhile the others were captured on CCTV lifting multiple items off one of the store’s shelves
