Gardai in Cavan are appealing for information in relation to a number of criminal damage incidents that has occurred in the town.
Sometime between 8am on Saturday the 28th of September and 8am on Sunday the 29th of September, criminal damage was caused at The Green Lake, Dublin Road, Cavan Con Smith Park at the Gazebo and the Playground.
Gardai believe it is the same perpetrator or perpetrators that are responsible at both locations.
Cavan Gardai are appealing to anyone with any information or if anybody has witnessed these incidents taking place to contact them. Only last week Paul Lynch from Cavan Tidy Town raised the increase of graffiti being encountered in Cavan in recent weeks.
Paul said this activity is not art, it's pure crime and is absolutely unacceptable and disappointing, especially to the so many good people that are out volunteering their time and effort to keep Cavan clean and welcoming, He added that it was a slap in the face to all the hard workers from Cavan County Council, Cavan Tidy Towns, and local volunteers.
