Gardaí in Co Monaghan are appealing for information following a spate of reported burglaries. Gardaí in Castleblayney are investigating two burglaries on the night of Tuesday the 1st of October in the Doohamlet/Cremartin area. The first of these was at a farmyard in Corleanamaddy where a red Honda 500 Quad, with a sprayer, was taken, along with a Con Saw and a number of Hilti and Dewalt power tools. The second burglary was at a farmyard in Drumgriston where a Husqvarna chainsaw and several Milwaukee power tools were stolen. Gardaí in Castleblayney are appealing for anyone with information on these burglaries or the possible whereabouts of the stolen items, to make contact with them.
Elsewhere in the area of Clonseady, Carrickmacross, a burglary took place on the night of Monday the 14th of October, some time after 8pm. A shed at the property was forcibly entered and a number of tools were stolen. Gardaí at Carrickmacross are appealing for you to make contact with them if you noticed any suspicious activity in Clonseady that night, the 14th of October.
Staying in the Carrickmacross area, two burglaries in were reported in St Macartans Villas on Friday the 18th of October. Two homes in the area were forcibly entered. Also on the 18th of October a home was broken into in the Aldwerwood Estate in Carrickmacross. This burglary took place between 6:30pm and 8:30pm. Gardaí at Carrickmacross continue to investigate this break in and would appeal for you to contact them if you noticed any suspicious activity in Alderwood on the evening of Friday the 18th of October.
