Gardaí in Cavan are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a pedestrian was hospitalised following a hit and run incident in Cavan Town.
Gardaí say they are investigating a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian which occurred in the Townparks area of Cavan town on St Patrick's Day Sunday, 17th of March. The incident occurred at approximately 1am on Bullock Lane in the Townparks area of the town.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s was brought to Cavan General Hospital to be treated for what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene.
