Gardai in Monaghan have launched an investigation after a serious assault in the Scotstown area over the weekend.
The incident occurred in the early hours of the 14th of August last.
Gardai are also appealing for dash cam footage from the area on the night.

Anyone with information that can help the investigation is asked to contact local Gardai.
"This was a serious assault and while Gardaí wish to add nothing further, we are appealing for dash cam footage," a spokesperson added.
