Gardaí are investigating the theft of cash from an elderly person in Ballyjamesduff.
The incident occurred in the rural townland of Clonkeiffy yesterday, close to Oldcastle, between 2 o'clock and 2.45 in the afternoon.
The Detective Branch in Bailieborough Garda Station is appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to contact them.

On the back of this appeal, Gardaí are reminding people to look out for the vulnerable people living in rural parts of the region this Christmas, and report any suspicious persons or vehicles.
