Gardaí investigating theft of cars from Monaghan yard

Gardaí are investigating after eight vehicles were stolen from a yard in Monaghan.

They were taken from a yard on the Emyvale road out of Monaghan town.

Gardaí have confirmed the alleged theft was reported to them on Saturday and they have launched an investigation.

It's believed the vehicles were being stored in the yard.
