Gardaí are investigating after a van was stolen in Castleblayney yesterday.
A man in his mid-20s has been arrested as part of the investigation.
A white van was stolen in Castleblayney shortly after four o'clock yesterday afternoon.
It travelled towards Ardee, with Gardaí appealing for witnesses to incidents of dangerous driving on the N2 between Castleblayney and Carrickmacross to get in touch.
They're eager to hear from anyone travelling on the route between 4.20pm and 4.45pm yesterday.
Gardaí say the van failed to stop before the driver was arrested close to Ardee.
They say a black VW Passat, with a partial registration LHZ ****, was travelling in convoy with the stolen vehicle.
Anyone with information or who was travelling the route and may have dash cam footage is asked to contact Gardai in Castleblayney on 042 9747900.
