Gardai are investigating a break-in to a house in Monaghan town.
On Friday evening, a sum of cash and a quantity of jewellery was taken from a property in the Latlorcan area.
An appeal has been made for anyone who was in the area at around 7pm and witnessed suspicious activity to contact Monaghan Garda Station.
