Gardai detect unaccompanied learner driver in Carrickmacross

Monaghan Roads Policing Unit detected an unaccompanied learner driver in the Carrickmacross District in recent days.

A fixed charge penalty notice will be now issued to the driver following the vehcile being taken off the road by Gardai.

Learner Drivers must be accompanied at all times by a fully licensed driver who has their full driving licence for more than 2 years. A number of fixed charge penalty notices were issued for seatbelts and tax also when local Gardai were in the wider Carrickmacross area.
