Gardaí are continuing to investigate a road traffic collision on the Main Street in Ballybay over the weekend. The collision that occurred on Friday night last at 8.45 pm involved a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 60s, was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
The car involved in the collision failed to remain at the scene. Enquiries are ongoing and local Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.

Anyone who was in the area at the time - especially those with camera footage are asked to make it available to Gardaí.
