Gardaí have confirmed they 'engaged' with a number of people at what's described as "an impromptu training session" at a Monaghan GAA club.
They attended the Aughnamullen GAA club on Friday night after receiving a report of an alleged breach of Covid regulations.
A Garda Spokesperson confirmed to Shannonside Northern Sound that names and addresses of those present were taken.
It says it is understood that the training session was "not organised by any club or sporting organisation".
Aughnamullen GAA club and Monaghan County Board have both said they have no comment to make.
It follows the suspension of Monaghan senior footballer manager Seamus 'Banty' McEnaney last week after a training session, in breach of Covid regulations, was found to have taken place.
